I have actively studied Wicca /Paganism for just about three years, but I have really been gearing up for it my entire life. The epiphany came about when my wife wanted to get our son baptized. I was against it, since we aren’t Baptist, nor have we ever been. I felt she was doing it just to do it. She challenged me with that I shouldn’t even care since my faith non-existent. (I would say dormant) I then declared that I would find out what I believed in which had been a question that had been on my mind for sometime. I researched every religion on that I could find and I was about to give up until I was move something in the office and my deck of tarot cards fell of the shelf. I stared at them and it all came flooding to me. My interest in tarot, candles, herbalism, and love of nature now seemed obvious. Years of studying the different pantheons of ancient cultures and my interest in expanded perceptions and phenomena. I even tried to make up my own religion when I was about 11 the focused the properties of semi-precious stones and meditation. (After learning about chakras recently, I found that I was really close to just guessing where they are located without even knowing) There are countless other things in my life that have pointed down this path, including the choice to learn how to make candles as my new trade in case society collapsed due to Y2K. Have to have a trade, you know?

I look forward to taking this journey with you all!
